Title: Using an old version of noggit with the WoLTK?
Post by: larrylaffer on August 04, 2010, 03:55:26 pm
Hello,

I have a simple question. There's a way to load an spawn objects from the WOLTK with a previous version of noggit (Like 2.4.3)? I would like to know cuz the versions of noggit for the TBC are far more stable that the versions of noggit 3. The only problem is that one is unable to use wmo objects and doodads of the WoLTK.

If someone knows a way to do this, please let me know.

Regards.

You have to extract the folders with the models and the textures into the old wow folder.
The old noggit you have to use with a 2.x.x WoW client.
Then you can add the models to the adts. It will load the adt from the mpqs of the 2.x.x client and the models direct form disk inside the wow 2.x.x folder.

After you save the adt you can use it in an 3.x.x wow client. Only water need fixing.
But i hope the we will get soon a working 3.x.x noggit.
