As the title says; here's a little thing I'm currently working on.
You see the picture, you get the point.
Drop me some feedback would ya?
;P

EDIT:
ATM. I'm working on making the textures seam better at the splices...as you might notice, the torso seperates the arms as if it was a vest or something...
I could use a few tips and inputs on this.
-
No comments?
Well, now I've successfully seamed the splices and removed the Nightelf glow.
Doesn't he look kind of funny?
Hah!
Now there's just some shape-editing on the M2-model left to do with this one.
;)

Looks really good)
reminds gollum)
-
LOL! Yeah, now that you mention it! xD
Got allot of shape-fixxing to do now.
Take that thumb for an example... looks like a fat meat-carrot.
-
Yes) and hand attachment)
Its a race?)
-
It's gonna be an additional new race on my private server once I'm done with them.
Here, now I've reshaped the M2-model a little. Smoothed out the waist and stomage because that area was a bit "bony", and made some minor muscle-tweaks on the upper body aswell as removed the "claws" on hands and feet.
IMO the whole head needs to be reshaped Because it looks a little "boxy" at the moment.
I'll finish this tomorrow. Now I need to go party somewhere.
^^

EDIT:
This is posted in 'Texture and 2D Art" at the moment. This is starting to belong in the 3D section since I'm actually reshaping 3D atm. If some administrator feel like this belongs in the modeling section then feel free to move the thread.

This is just the reskinned Korea version of Undead Male?
Korea: http://fur.ly/6ee5 (http://fur.ly/6ee5" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)
-
Exactly! That's the way it started out, yeah, but now I'm in to reshaping the model too as you can see on the latest picture.
-
Well not much really changed :S Only thing I notice is his stomach/chest filled out and a bigger neck/throat
-
Yeah, plus I've removed the claws that pointed out from the toes and fingers.
Tomorrow I intend to fix the legs and reshape the head ^^
Not much more than that needs to be done, really. :P
-
Looks like a better human model for wow : D
-
The concept-model is just about done for the male model.
It turned out great imo!
Since I like the forsaken very much I want to point out that this model isn't intended to replace the undead in anyway, but to be added as an additional race in a larger project.
Done:
Bones and stuff was already removed on the korean-version of the model (which saved me some time).
Other than that: the muscles has been tweaked and the stomage/hip is completely reshaped. The face is also reshaped, but not particulary much. Claws on toes and hands has been removed. The skin is completely retextured.
All that's left is some minor adjustments but for now it looks pretty much the way I intended it to.
To do:
There's a barely noticable gap between the upper and lower body, plus by reshaping the Jaw (which was three seperate geosets) made it look akward in some lights, as you can see on the third image in the second picture. I'd love to get some inputs on how to fix that.
I'm thrilled to hear some opinions and suggestions!
-
Your model turns out very nicely, grats :)
The only thing I think looks a little weird is the thumbs, I don't know, their shape looks weird, in my opinion. But overall nice work really.
-
In my opinion you should change the animiations a litte bit so the model doesn't walk as an forsaken, more human like
-
Yeah, I agree, the thumbs look a little odd. That's a definite fix comming up. Thanks for that.
I agree. It'd be cool to swap a few animations here and there, not all though.
Any idea how to do that?
