Title: [SOLVED] [QUESTION:WotlK] White Texture when i retexture a W

Hi everyone,

So i try to do a retexturing of the new Tyrande model (i dont remember if its a WoD or cata or Mop model sry ), the problem is here :

As you can see, there is white texture on some part of the model ( only hair and right arm ), i'm working in the problem since 2 hour but rly cant find any solution so i come here hope finding one with help !

I upload an .rar archive with the base texture of the model and the new one i create, the problem seems to come from "Tyrande2.blp", so i try lot of things for that :

- Convert my PNG with BLPconverter and following rules :
   - /A128
   - /R
   - /H
   - /FBLP_DXT5

- Actually i done the retexture with a graphic tablet, think the problem is coming of that i try to done the retexture only /w Photoshop and an "adjustment layer" for just change the color. Its change nothing problem still here.

- Trying to put texture-by-texture in my patch, i mean i put Tyrande1.BLp retextured and try my patch etc ... this for all .blp, and the problem only appear when i put my Tyrande2.Blp retextured in my patch...

- Checking /w 010 Editor and M2 Template the Textures that the model loads and cheking in my MPQ if i've all in my files ( 2 times !) and yes i've all so the problem isnt that

The model has been converted for 3.3.5 and i work in a 3.3.5 server.

I'm really lost about that and I saw many people here who was doing very well with that so i hope one of you can help me /w this problem !

Its appears to be an issue with Tyrande2.blp :)

If is Texture White -  Texture  doest exist
if is texture green - texture exists but its unreadable

Doublecheck all your edited textures if there isn't any white space. However, this is not unknown problem at all even if you have everything correct. Some models tend to behave like... how would I explain that... like they have changed UV maps after being retextured? And yes, yes, I know that this is bullshit and can't happen at all, but results look so. Retexturing blizzlike model can lead to bugged texture applying on model. I have no idea why and I have seen glitches like this on only about 3 different models in my 3 years long experience with retexturing. So its just possible that you did nothing wrong at all and need to fix that in 3d model's UV maps if you are capable of it.

Okay thanks you two for answer, after some help of a friend i solved the problem, is come from the .BLP have an alpha chan that hide some detail on the texture, so i deleted the alpha channel and edit the converted png and its work good now :)

or you can use old texture and just change renderflag of M2 result would be same
