UPPDATE! 2 days ago i didn't know anything about mods.


I have been able to do this in noggit, now the only problem is to get it working on my server 1.12.1. But i will first make it work on my WOTLK. Have a nice day everyone! keep on making your world!



You maybe wonder where most of the purple rocks went?.. well they are gone because i thought you could save as many times as you want in noggit but apparently not.. i got this after 5 saves and searching the internet <3

1.12.1 Help section

I have and idea of creating a custom map for the world to join, but much needs to be done before that so what i need help with is that when i want to select a object ingame i cant just macro "select-delete" on the same key, for example.

.gobject select
.goobject delete

It wants me to write in the GUID ID of the object and then delete which take ages.



Something like this but so you can edit real time would be the dream!

Is there any way this could be possible? Is there any one out there with tips or tricks?

This is actually a little bit confusing to me. Do you want to work with models via commands, and thus spawn them server-side? Then you are talking about gameobjects and Noggit has absolutely nothing to do with them.

Otherwise you want to work in map editor (so, Noggit) to make client side map and in that case, commands and server side spawn has nothing to do with that as well. Those are two entirely separated systems.


Anyway, about deleting gameobjects quickly, for 3.3.5a there's great addon called Trinity Admin, but that probably won't work for you. But in general, addon is most likely the only solution. That TCAdmin does is that it adds links to outputs server is giving you after typing commands, you can simply click on those links and another command is sent by addon. You just use macro fro gameobject target, and click on [Delete] next to its GUID. Simple, effective, just needs to have such addon. You can try to actually make yourself one.

Yeah thanks for the quick answer! I'm a bit hard to understand but i think you got it. The thing is that i would love to to do a quick addon for that specific part of deleting a obj in game quick, but i have no skills in that area ( But i will do my best to figure out a quick way to delete obj fast on 1.12.1 in game ) Hope to get more help from the community if you got any more tips/tricks! And i will look in to what info you had to offer me thanks!

But do you know if you could work in noggit and add/delete obj? Because iwe tried, and today i have downloaded 3.3.5 and to see if it works better to work in a newer version of noggit where i want to build my own world and add/delete obj. I don't get why its so complicated just because its 1.12.1?

Bottom line, i want to add/delete obj (fast) in 1.12.1 and i want to create my own terrain. That is the quest.
