i really hope this is my last prob before i can start editing lol
my noggit works and i have everything in order, all my .dbc and .wdt and .adt's are in right places and right format. i open noggit and nothing shows, i read the older posts and the one guys problem was diff cause he had the .dbc in wrong folder, but mine are all right.
To be more descriptive, i open noggit 3 exe and the normal list appears, but "stronghold" which my instance name isn't there in the list

"nothing shows"
Where is nothing? In the Noggitsceen, that is shown always after the start?
or only is ur custom instanc not shown?
maybe a screenshot of the noggit screen helps

i edited my first post to be more decriptive reread ;)

ok,
i know about such a problem, because i had it, too.
in the past my problem was corrected by an error in the map.dbc
so u use wow client 3.3.2 use the map.dbc from "patch-deDE-2.MPQ" (or gbGB if u ar from an other country^^) and not from "locale.MPQ", because its not up-to-date.
in the past this managed my problem
-
ok i will try this
-
uh i dont have those mpq files, im in the us so is is en us?
-
i tried patch.3 mpq since im on 3.3.3 version
did not work
-
is there a folder enEN?
in this folder there are a patch called "patch-enEN-2.MPQ". its importend that u use the MPQ's from the enEN folder.
btw in the map.dbc should be 718 row's or more (i have 3.3.2 and there are 718)
so upload ur dbc and i will look up
P.S: (if u speak german theres a thread, that can helps. sry but at the short time i found nothing else)

i speak English as i am in the USA, so would it be enus folderthen the enus mpq?
-
Yup. Should now work for you right?
-
ok so i had problems messing around with other stuff. i have started fresh and anew with redownloaded tools and a new 3. wow, i am recreating a new TestA instance and i will test tomm cause i might not have time now, idk but i will post and update!

Best is you extract all wow files like i describe in the basic knowledge tutorial. If you have the disk-space.
http://modcraft.io/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=98&start=0
Its point 3.
Then you have every-time the right files by your hand if you need a dbc or search some texture.
Some DBCs are also overwritten by the patch files in the enUS folder so this is the only way to be sure you start with the right one.
