Title: [QUESTION] How can I get terrain in FBX or OBJ format?
Post by: Euden on June 10, 2016, 06:34:11 pm
Hi Guys,

I've been scouring the internet for days for an answer to this question, I'd like to be able to pull WoW's current terrain from the game into an editor in either OBJ or FBX format along with it's ground textures. Trees, buildings and such I can already get from the WoW Model viewer but I can't seem to get actual terrain from it.

If there is a way I'd love to know!

Thanks!

Euden

These are in 3ds max and Maya, both programs I do not have. Could you show me perhaps how to get it into blender?

I've tried using the last link you provided but the obj's I export seem to be empty :/

I'm not having much luck here and I'd really like to get the terrain!

Thanks!
