Can you remove the fog in Eastern Plaguelands by changing the skybox, or is it something else?

It is the skybox, defined in Light*.dbc.

You can use LightMapper to identify which Light effect you'd like to change/remove (as you need to find out which ID you want to get to). I have included it in my toolpack here:
