Title: 2.4.3 wont read my custom patch?

its been a while since i made a model edit for 2.4.3 and whenever i create the patch in mpq ediotr (latest version) and place it in data folder it doesn't read it! i am using the costume .exe wowmes but the client acts like that there is no extra patch in  there. i named it patch-3

im pretty sure its what version of mpq editor im using, but idk. ive tried like 10 different versions, still no luck.

Hi ! I use the latest rev of MPQEditor and it works good for me, did you set the correct wow version ?

Did you try a letter in place of the number in your patch name?

correct wow version? no prob didn't. I finally did get it by using glitch's program by doing any random mount swap, opening it up in mpqeditor, deleting those files and putting the files i want. ( i didnt extract or make a new mpq, i simply just edited the files inside) i guess it worked cause its the way glitchy's program makes the mpq, idk.

I am also having problems trying to edit a dbc file.
It says it's corrupted. I tried a few different MPQ and DBC editors.

It works perfectly fine with 3.3.5a/

Any ideas?

try start it from this file instead of wow.exe

What exactly does it do?
Do we have to patch the exe or start wit different privileges?
