Does anyone know how portals really work in a WMO? I have manually inputed a portal in my own wmo and set some of my groups as interior in the root folder in the group info chunk and also in the group file itself in the MOGP chunk flags as interior. I have also tried to place lights but they don't work. My game crashes when i try to log in and even when i am able to log in, i can see through the wmo group which has the interior flags.

I see you have been joining the chat in the recent days, sadly always when most people working on this kind of stuff were offline. I personally mostly Coke online a few hours after you leave. ,_,
I gues that the interior shows fine without portal and flagged as exterior? Do you have any visualization of the portal placement? Are the sides of the portal correct? Does it show when actually inside?

Ya i have been trying to see if anyone could help in the chat but as you said i guess my timing is just bad.
Yes, the interior groups work when i flag them as external and without portal. Here is an image of the portal with 3ds max, this is just the oldstrat_barn.wmo file as i seeing i can repeat the same portals that are already placed in the original model.

When i try to enter the interior the game crashes completely. I am guessing it is a problem with my interior flags?

Well it seems i figured out a way to make it work. It would seem that vertex color has to be implemented into the group for the wmo interior group to show at all! Here is an example of this:

MOCV should be possible to omit if flag 4 is not set for the group.
