Title: Easy wow server

Hey guys,
There's a program on the internet called "Novo's easy server" with this, u are able to set up your own wow server with a few clicks. The server runs with the diamond DB and diamond core, which is based on mangos. I thought it would be nice to make an easy custom wow server out of it, but everytime I add new adt files, the server crashes on startup.
what could i do?

Hrm what exactly did you do?
Did you replace a dbc file or sth. like that ...please more informations!

I replaced the map.dbc and added the adt's.....and than the server crashes on startup

Hi b00nq

Can you post the last five lines of your Map.dbc?
I think you have just a formal error somewhere inside the Map.dbc. Has happened to me before.

EDIT:
Did you create an new MPQ-Archive (example: patch-X.mpq) which contains all your modified adt's and the map.dbc with the right pathtree?
For ADTs it is "WorldMapsYourInstanceName"
For DBCs it is "DBFilesClient"

of course i did....here is the hack patch....maybe you could have a look into it and figure out the problem...

It says, that the file is not available. Please try another hoster.

Hey b00nq,

I once looked over your file and I noticed that the first letter of your path are small and an wdt for your 870 ADTs we're missing. Whatever the reason, I've created a WDT for you and also corrected the path, try out if it works now. If I can give you an advice, if this is your first WorldEdit not overdo it, take first twenty ADTs or similar. To give you one example, you know the Redridge Mountains? What do you think of how many ADTs is that? On three.

So think again about it if you do not perhaps take over with 870 ADT's.

Did the server crash?
Do this server need the adts? Arc/ascent only need converted adt (maps files) but also starts without them.

Perhaps you have picked the wrong map.dbc file.

oh man:D sorry i didn't know that one adt is such big like this......yes I', new in trying to mod.....i will test your patch thx ;)

@steff: this is the error message from the server, but i think that this is not the biggest problem

and yes, the files are .map files....is there any adt to map converter?

Actually, DBCs are required to get the server running at all. So get them. There might be a reason people write error messages.. m(
