Error in custom Races
« on: December 01, 2014, 11:06:11 am »
Hi there Modcraft! I've been trying and working in adding some cutom races and I managed to add bot High Elves and goblins from cata to 3.3.5.a. But here's the problem i'm having. When goblins and high elves are both randomly pre-selected when you enter the Character Creation Screen it's working perfectly.

But, when i try to click on those one when they are no randomly preselected, what i got is this WoW Error. Same happens when they are pre-selected and i change from female to male.

Quote
ERROR #132 (0x85100084) Fatal Exception
Program:   C:UsersPC12DesktopWoWModdingClient335aTestWow.exe
Exception:   0xC0000005 (ACCESS_VIOLATION) at 0023:004DFE9A

The instruction at "0x004DFE9A" referenced memory at "0xBE860A92".
The memory could not be "read".

I don't really know how to solve it, i've trying for a few days but nothing seems to work... Could someone bring light to this and help me a little bit? Thank you all of you guys!! ^^

Go through the tutorial again.  You missed a step.  What step?  I don't know.  That's why you need to redo it from scratch and pay more attention.

apparently you are using files tuturial of wowmoding , it may be that the problem is you've mixed two somewhat different things, advice you should download a wow 3.3.5a and work with all files.

as I mean , get a wow intact and working on if you do not solve your problem, pass me the file and have ChrRaces.dbc if the fault is here.

a greeting.

sorry my english.

Just follow the tutorials to the letter.  There's no need to contact anyone for help if you can't read simple instructions. -_-

And don't mix and match many different tutorials at one time if you don't know the process.
