Post by: The_Tauren on August 19, 2014, 01:49:08 am
WMO doodads  flicker when you stand inside them Ingame. Any solution to this problem? In others my character flicker in WMOs without wmo doodads.

Hello, about your clipping problem, just use the Holes tool in Noggit and put holes around the bottom of the wmo so when you walk in it doesn't flicker.

You can not put m2s inside wmos.  For this you need to use doodad sets or serverside gameobjects.

You mean the basic sets flicker?

Or how did you create own sets?

WMO can hadle M2s inside spawned by noggit but WMO needs to have correct Flasg .. like "OutDoor"

for example this one can handle M2s

Sometimes two or more of the same WMO ist on the same point... delete all, only one can stand.

This problem is often across 2 ADTs... in each of the two ADT the WMO is on the same point.

If you have custom/modified WMO, I can't help you, try what dahaga wrote.

If you are using blizzlike WMO:
1) Make sure you don't have 2 WMOs spawned at same coords (duplicated object, made by 2 presses of ctrl+v, import from txt or just bug of saving ADTs).
2) Don't spawn M2s inside of WMOs with indoor spaces (especially buildings and caves). Use only gameobjects and doodad sets for spawning interiors, otherwise follow dahaga's advice.
3) Make sure you have flattened terrain under building and that you have holes on right places. Objects can flicker even when you are running on floor which is too near to the ground texture, so also make sure your building isn't too "deep" in the terrain texture.
4) In cellars and caves make sure that you have terrain texture everywhere enough high above the ceiling.
