Title: [SHOWOFF]Twilight-The Spire
Post by: Bardh on December 10, 2017, 01:20:33 am
Hello modcrafters, this is a part of Tales on Time project I'm currently working on. It says that for security reasons I cannot upload the pics here so I'm giving the link to the other wowmodding site.

The last zone is meh since the wide roads look shit somehow. The eversong-tree-zone still is beautifully the darker zones I didn’t look at since too dark and small on my screen, but the scroll-by-glance looks fine.

Hey, thanks for feedback! I do not know exactly about which roads you're talking about, cuz they're plenty everywhere, but I guess that you meant about the newest zone, cuz I used a road texture. The darker zones, on which I worked mostly, they're actually like the core of the project and are done using a simple texturing method but I have used shaders everywhere. So the darker areas are not dark textures but shaders, so even the roads could look a bit ugly cuz I didn't really have a good amount of textures and used the shaders to make it look better..I think another thing to mention is that when making terrain in Noggit it turns out very edgy or jagged and this ruins the map a bit, especially when making zones like these ones I made, since they require too much terrain editing. Thanks for your feedback and interest! :D
