[SOLVED] [QUESTION] Male Ogre player models
(1/4) > >>
Nation:
Hey, so I've got these player models working, they are able to wear every piece of armor and such. My problem is though, that the ogre model in the male slot won't show its legs unless it has a helmet equipped. It doesn't matter if it's the two-headed ogres or the normal ones, it won't show without a helmet. Any help would be appreciated! <3 Here are some screenshots kiOeDz8.jpg[/attachment:3kbv26h1] TEeUyIQ.jpg[/attachment:3kbv26h1] The models work fine when set as female though.

--- Quote from: "tok124" ---I guess you need to flip normals --- End quote --- Nope, if normals were the case, then the back faces would be showing on the back of the legs., think about that, you've done 3d work for a while now, should know how backfaces work by now, and this clearly isn't a backface issue.
I can't help out the OP because I don't know how the geoset data controlled on playable models, but for creatures, it's in the CreatureDisplayInfo.dbc file on 15th slot for the geosetdata bitset. I'm pretty sure there's an explanation somewhere on here since I've seen Many people post about missing legs for player models in my time here.
Goodluck, wish I could help more but I haven't bothered with character stuff given there's so many people in that field already which leaves so many others untouched because of it.

You should probably look up what geoset type your legs use. Cause that is just plain odd.
phantomx:
Just turn the model into m2i put in blender join the legs to the feet and export m2i then turn back to m2 and done.
You're legs geoset aren't being called that's why they don't show so just join them with the feet.
