--- Quote from: "Kobiesan" ---My patch increases by 1 mb every time I take out the texture and put it back in. Really weird --- End quote --- Thats not weird, its known behaviour of MPQEditor. MPQEditor doesn't delete old (deleted/rewritten) files from archive, it only adds new files and updates references to them. Which means that old stuff still remains in MPQ and increases its size.
Use Operations > Compact Archive function to make your archive size optimal.
Kobiesan:
Compact archive appears greyed out to me.
schlumpf:
you can always just create a new archive to achieve the same

Here's the finished Republic Dancer Top (Slave Girl Top but different colors). I increased the resolution to 256x128 and it looks a lot better. Added some shading to applicable areas. A little sad though because I thought 256x128 meant I could make an unsymmetrical texture which I really was looking forward to making. If anyone knows a way to make unsymmetrical textures please do tell me. I imagine it might only be possible with models but who knows?

--- Quote from: "Kobiesan" --- --- Quote from: "Alastor" ---I wonder if there is way how to get files from SWTOR for me it would be nice content for use but i guess that would be for everyone iv seen some guy that had in his machinimas models that looked on 99% like ingame models just didnt asked him if its hand made / screen leech / memoy extract or just file extract --- End quote ---
There are a few dataminers for SWTOR who know how to pull out the models. I have no idea how they do it.
A little bit more touch ups on the top. This is probably close to finished. Minor touchups needed on the curly stuff by the collar bone. Using this as a reference instead. Much easier to see where the lines are.

My patch increases by 1 mb every time I take out the texture and put it back in. Really weird. Is it possible to make the texture higher quality? I vectorized the texture but I scale it to 128x64. Wondering if I can go over that. --- End quote ---
BLP converters usually have various quality related settings.
MPQ is a storage format - not a format designed to be edited with. Every time you add a file it is writing it again to the storage format, hence why it is increasing every time you add it again. Either remake the MPQ or MPQ Editor has a "compress MPQ archive" option somewhere that rebuilds the MPQ. You can do a binary edit quite easily to allow local files to be loaded that are not in MPQ files, solving the issue of MPQs in development.
