[QUESTION] Texture Shift?
<< < (2/3) > >>
Allifeur:
Yeah this is a common thing you see once you start to work a lot with details. Textures are a little bit more at south ingame, so you must put your objects a little bit more at the north.
The difference is about the half of a human. If it can help you. Which is about as long as 2 pixels on a 1024x1024 alphamap. The bush appears on the grass circle ingame.
Bordering all my buildings with dirt, I'm starting to be more vigilant to that.
Skarn:
My Noggit doesn't have this bug. I work with details a lot.

I also don't have this bug, but the friend i'm posting for experiences it regardless of what version of Noggit he uses. Weird stuff!
Anyway, thanks for the information guys, shame there's no fix at the moment. I guess i'll leave this one open just incase someone has any ideas.
Skitis:
I'm the friend in question here. Thanks for the tip Allifeur, that is currently what I'm keeping in mind now when confronted with this.
If there's anyone that can further look into the issue, I'd be grateful. I've had this issue beyond multiple versions of Noggit and the new one seems to have done nothing to fix it. It's really making the finer detail work I need to do that much harder.
iindigo:
My most complex map is affected by this. It’s quite annoying.
Maybe this has to do with how the ADTs are created? As far as I can tell, texture shifting doesn’t occur when you edit blizzard maps. Other bugs happen, but not texture shifting.
