I think a solution would be to make more classes, to split each class in three classes, for example Mage Fire, Mage Arcane, Mage Frost, and after the character is created to check the class, give the character the proper items, and after pressing on create character to give him the normal class (Mage) - would that work? I'm not quite sure how I would be supposed to add the new classes into CharStartOutfit, would have to play with it a bit.
I got a question, would it be possible to add talent specializations from the character creation screen? For example if you're creating an Undead Mage, you would be able to choose the specialization (Fire, Mage, Arcane) - something like it's on retail at the moment after you buy the character boost. If it is possible, would it be possible to make different Character Creation Equipment for each class / specialization?
I've seen a recent Blue Post from a Blizzard Developer, and someone was complaining on the forums that they cannot see an NPC, and the Developer replied with: "You cannot see him because you have to complete a quest in order to see the NPC". And I was curious, on a Trinity Core 3.3.5, would it possible to implement something like that? To make an NPC visible after completing a Quest, but without phases. (Also, you have to take in consideration that the NPC shall be visible only for the player who completed the quest, not for everyone after first completion).
Open all XML / Lua files from Interface with a smart editor (Sublime Text / Notepad++) - and do a search all on all files with "Alliance", you might figure it out from there.
These kind of mountains were used since Wrath of the Lich King I guess, check the Nerubian Sites in Borean Tundra or take a closer look at Icecrown mountains.
The only way to learn how to do it is by practice.
I've been away for a while and I'm back. I've finally have some long-term free time and I need your help. I'm looking for you guys to post here your greatest ideas and let me do the job. I know most of you don't have time for emulation and others and I bet you always had in mind some great ideas for a server.
What exactly am I looking for?
I want you to use your imagination and to post below on this thread your ideas you ever had but never had time to apply them anywhere. You've ever wanted to make a Survival server where players had heat instead of rage / energy or mana and they will die if their heat reach 0? Or any other ideas? Do a brainstorm below, post something you think it's impossible to reach at this point in emulation and you would love to see it in-game.
What will I do with your ideas?
I'm looking forward to start a new project, something that's different. I have plenty ideas myself but I want more, I want community ideas. I can solemnly promise that I will do my best and this project will be up as soon as it's finished.
I will thank to Balthon, Kevin, Alessandro to make it posible
To be honest, combining these Warlords of Draenor HD Models with such a vague texturing is not looking good at all. Also, if you are going to use Warlords of Draenor HD Models make sure you won't come with older models which are from older versions. Combining these will make it look fuzzy overall.
So, try to improve your texturing and use only a type of models. (Ex. Only WOD Models or so on).
Messaged OP, needs updating to avoid deletion. Personal reminder - Lion
Can we stop this open 'I'm a moderator modersting' stuff. Theres no need for this to be in the public view.
I apologize, Stoneharry. More so than a personal reminder, this is merely an example to show the community that the moderators and the admins are actively working in various aspects, for the community, to enhance the overall quality of Modcraft. This is an attempt to let various members of the community know the team is busy and not otherwise. Please continue with your activities and pay no mind to this distracting issue. Have a nice day.
If this continues then I'll leave the website. It's childish. Why is your text bold? How does public off topic mod comments help improve quality? Good moderation is when you don't even notice anything wrong as a user.
I can totally agree with Stoneharry here. As a user it's more important to don't even notice anything wrong, leaving random replies does not help anyhow and also make users confused.
I have a few questions since I couldn't find anything related here or somewhere else and maybe someone is able to help:
Is it possible to make an object usable only by the creator? I mean, if a player spawn a door via an Item, is it possible to make the door openable only by that player?
Is it possible to make creatures unselectable but to be still able to hover them with the cursor and see their level / details? (I think there are a lot of these creatures in Mists of Pandaria / Warlords). If yes, how?
Is it possible to make the bank system in-game to work on different NPCs? For example, the actual bank system is working like this: If you go in Stormwind and deposit something, you can see your PLAYER bank and your deposit everywhere. But I was wondering if it would be able to make something like this individual for every creature. I mean, if I deposit something in Stormwind, when I go to Ironforge I'm seeing another bank.
WMO files does not have .skin files. They are just WMO's. WMO's have other WMO's files with numbers at the end of the file, for example Undercity.WMO have a lot of Undercity_01.WMO, Undercity_02.WMO etc.
And you shall be able to see the textures fine in-game. Noggit usually is not responsible to show up objects and world objects from other patches than 3.3.5.
I would recommend using Noggit 1.3 or 1.4 - it have a feature to add water on the specific ADT, basically you will still have to use the feature on all 20x20 ADTs but it's way faster with Noggit. Just use 'P' to increase your speed, and move around creating water.
