[SOLVED] [Noggit 1.4] Not loading custom maps
(1/4) > >>
Grimtonz1337:
Hello.
I've been trying to make a custom map and test some things on it, but I can't access my map in Noggit 1.4. Here's the log list:
http://pastebin.com/UvwgFUBz
My WoW Path is:
Path = F:TomeWorld of Warcraft 3.3.5
My project path is enabled in the config file and it's:
ProjectPath = C:UsersUserDesktopProject
Inside the Project folder is the DBFilesClientMap.dbc and WorldMaps<Continent Name>.wdts and .adts
I've also tried putting the DBFilesClient and the WorldMaps<Continent Name>.wdts and .adts in my WoW Directory, but I still can't view my map in Noggit.
Can someone help me troubleshoot this problem or something? Thanks.

So noggit doesn't load your map? or is the map not shown in the list? You have to create a folder in your "noggit wow" named "DBFilesClient". You have to put in there your modified .dbcs.
Your project files (like adts and wdt) have also to be in your wow folder so your folder should loke like:
WoWworldmapsYOURINSTANCENAMEwdt and adt files and WoWDBFilesClientYOUR DBCS

I stated that as well. I have done it like that and still, it's not shown on the list.
Jøk3r:
As he is using the project path he doesnt need to make thosr foldrrs insidr the noggit wow folder.
Edit: Try deleting your custom patch in your noggit wow folder if there are other things besides textures. For example if there is a map.dbc this could afaik cause your map to not show up inside of noggit.

Just re-downloaded WoW 3.3.5, still not working.
Is it because I'm using an external hard disk? Can that cause a problem?
