[QUESTION] WoWModelViewer Question

(1/2) > >>

Abundant:
I have this .gif animation file (below) which is what I want to use for a login screen model.

Now I know you can use .m2 files but how would I convert this to .m2 file format I heard you had to export the model from WoWModelViewer as a FBX which is fine but I cant find the file once I export it.

Can someone give me a hand please :D

inico:
Gifs can't be converted to blp or m2.
You can use the display id of a human model dressed with those items, set the animation to "kneel loop" and spawn it with lua on the login screen (I have never tried that though).

Abundant:
Right that's what I did there in the picture above , but I wanted to know if anyone knew how to do the FBX method that someone mentioned under Morded's post for Login Screen.

Fbx is an autodesk model format. Wow can't read those files unless you convert them to m2 (but it won't have animations). If you don't have any modeling knowledge it will be the worst pain you ever suffered. It would be more useful if you posted a link to that post.

Abundant:
Oh Alright, Well I was just wondering because this post seemed like that's how he did it
