[clientside] how to understand a dbc file

As long as my eyes don't trick me there isn't any dbc file named
cameramode.dbc in the wotlk files.
thats why i pointed that out.

You can adapt. In WoW-modding, you get further by figuring it out yourself and using already existing documentation to start you off.
