[WIP] Dalkannes Isles

TheBuG:
In general it looks really good, it's one of the best builds I've ever seen. But there is one thing I noticed I personally can't stand... (Sorry, that's just me ;p). The dirt road in the forest could really, really use another texture layer, or just some pebbles on it to add some detail. But as you said, it's still work in progress.

Well, I don't think it's that much of a problem, but you're kind of right, this dirt texture is more suited to farms than forest. I think it's mainly annoying when I make dirt road, but as a border texture it's ok. Maybe I'll try with a more rocky texture with the same colors.
Maybe I will try to put some sand/moutains texture with a low opacity over the dirty roads at the pirate camp. The limit of textures is quite annoying on that point. If it really doesn't work then I'll change it

MR. Farrare:
nicely done but I feel bad for the rabbit  ;)

That could work. Perhaps you already have a sandy (and/or rock) texture in the same chunk? I usually use a 25% opacity to just give it a bit of variation.

But you shoud also use groundeffectdoodads in the end, like 2-3 variations of small (like, really small) rocks/pebbles, it helps a lot. But it's not worth doing untill you are done with everything else.

Also, is this running on Cataclysm/MoP?

No, the water may make you think it's Cata, but it's running on Wotlk.
