In the meantime, you can add a file "shaders/terrain1.fs" with any content to your noggit directory. That might prevent Noggit from crashing.
If it's crashing the next time you want to save then, remove patch-9.MPQ after each save.

I have reupped the windows version with turned off MPQ save. Just load the file on top again.

I built it on 10.7 Lion, yes. Its the current OS. Why would I want SLeopard? All my macs are running Lion.
