Not sure how much computer components cost where you live, but these days you can build a surprisingly capable machine (waaaay more than you'd need for WoW modding) for around $300-$400US or even less than that if you can salvage parts from previous machines.

And about the thread. It is not cool waht he has written there. It was stupid and i think he would not do it again today. But also it is 1,5 years in the past.
