(1/2) > >>
fangames:
Hello guys,
I try to resolve a problem on Noggit, but, i need your help ....
On noggit, i paint the map, it's nice. But on World Of Warcraft i have many black bands on all my maps (or texture bands). I can not find solutions to my problem and i do not know where to look ...
I attached two pictures, one on Wow and the other on Noggit.
On noggit :) : Screenshot_1.png[/attachment:aism8gny]
On Wow :( : problem.png[/attachment:aism8gny]
Anyone have this problem, and have you resolve it ?
(Sorry if I speak wrong, I'm not speaking english very well...)

Those chunk border lines appear sometimes. It's a Noggit issue. You have to play around with the terrain (elevate, lower, smooth) just edit the terrain because those lines appear when the map is completely flat.
Amaroth:
Nope, thats not true. I get this bug everytime I texture anything in my maps. Way to solve it is really simple - after another save those lines will disappear. So all you need to do is to open your map again, edit ADTs and save. Lines should disappear.
Since it seems you are beginner, I would like to tell you that noggit is a little bit buggy with saving right now (well, it always was), so never save your map twice per running an application (after every save restart application and after that continue working) and if it is possible, try to always save the whole map. Map shown after pressing M key shows you which ADTs are edited and will be saved. Try to always edit all of them before saving. Fix gaps (all adts) in Assisst menu is great tool for this, because it edits all ADTs which are loaded in memory. If you won't follow these 2 rules, you might either get some duplicated models (and thus performance losses or even errors from memory overloads) or some models can simply disappear. If you already knew this, my apologies :). Good luck with WoW modding.

I only had them if i used blizzard adts as templates. Like QA DVD. Till i did always my own adts with taliis and then used template i never had this problem.

--- Quote from: "Steff" ---I only had them if i used blizzard adts as templates. Like QA DVD. Till i did always my own adts with taliis and then used template i never had this problem. --- End quote --- Thats true, I use ADTs made of copies of QA_DVD ones. There have been some problems reported with Taliis-made ADTs as far as I remember and I haven't been succesful when I tryed to create my own template ADT with Taliis - it just never worked and created ADT was causing crashes in both Noggit and client. I trust Taliis with no tasks anymore. I rather have this little and very easy to fix glitch than risk crashes. But maybe I will take a look at your template ADT Steff.
