Steff:
Very cool idea! Would you release your dust somtimes ;)
Then another one bites the dust.
Vel:
I can make any particle emitters for maruum (exclusively), in exchange for one request. for next noggit SDL you add following thing: *New Icon on the panel "Light" *when press "Light" we can see All lightning spheres with internal and external radius *if we target any lightning sphere and then press enter- we can edit him: *light ID
if when target light sphere we can press SHIFT and moove mouse, we can resize sphere if when target light sphere we can press ALT and moove mouse, we can moove sphere if we press "delete" - delete sphere if we press CTRL + mouse click on the ground - we create new lightning sphere by light ID: 0 (by default) and 5 internal, 15 external radius.
all saves to light.dbc
in %WoW folder%DBfileclientLight.dbc --------- In exchange I will do you some doodads or particle emitters to choose exclusively for Maruum or modcraft public.
Noggit SDL with lightning spheres (1.3 or higher) must be upload on modcraft.
If you're interested in my offer, then you can make a 5-10 orders (in PM) on any doodads for Maruum. (except very difficult ideas)
Eluo:
One thing: try to minimize the amount of particles emitted and use bigger sized particles to keep the same dust effect
I triied once to use partciles in an area and if you are not carefull it can cause your fps to drop dramaticly. I don't know why but i think that maybe because of how wow handles the rendering of the particles , which is why i somehow never got any really good particles to work because of that :( Alaways wanted to use the falling leaves particles in my forests but it always seemed that i added too much of them xD
Crumpet:
You could probably do what's done most of the time to cheat... emit alpha textured planes with dust specks on. and use bigger planes...
