[QUESTION] WoW Crash with custom zone
(1/2) > >>
nasteey:
Hi guys, I encountered a serious problem yesterday that -with my mortal knowledge- I can't fix alone. I downloaded Steff's custommap1 and started worldbuilding. I edited my own map.dbc (the one that works with 2 other custom maps of mine), packed it into my MPQ, then packed all the 442 files into the same MPQ (patch-enGB-4.MPQ) and copied the dbc to my server's dbc folder. Here comes the problem. To make things clear, I have already done 2 other custom maps before and they work like charm without a single error. If I try to port to my custom zone, I encounter a "new" loading screen, a dwarf holding his hammer on a gryphon, and it stucks at the screen. If I kill my WoW and restart, it loads to nearly the half of the loading bar and I get a nice error (Error 132). I tested both my custom zones and the loading screen is always the Kalimdor loading screen, if that means something. I attach a full copy of my wowerror, a picture of my MPQ structure and if it is needed, I can attach my map.dbc. Any help would be appreciated.

Steff:
No space inside map folder names. The missing loading screen is because you defined no new in the loading screen dbc. I think you have damaged AT files. Did you use an other tool then noggit on them?
nasteey:
Khalem City loads perfectly...kinda weird, but it does. Vision loads too. And finally I did NOT use any other tools than noggit.
Steff:
1. Recreate WDT file 2. Move all adts out of the patch and add them piece for piece. To find out witch adts have the problem.
nasteey:
How can I find out which adt is corrupted? Btw, it would take a bit long time to add 441 files step by step.
