Just wanted to share this here for those guys who are interessed in this (:

Hmm thanks. But I don´t understand why people are such turned off by a work map of Blizzard. Looks for me like the most custom maps out there. Much unfinished stuff, green textures and unfinished untextured ground with some models on it .. or obove it ;)

Because it's a hidden step of Blizzard's work, a preamble of some works, the ruins of abandoned ones. It's not so much the beauty of the maps that is liked, but the side of origin. We can see a lot of legos works that are only estethics clues for some projects. We can see here, for exemple, that Azjol'Nerub was supposed to be a quest area, and not only an instance. It would have been Blizzard's first "fake" under-earth map, even before deepholme! (Oh, that's right, the final room of deadmines was made like that too)

Those map are like writer's draft, they doesn't worth the final novel, but they are very useful to understand how a novel is made.

For a lot of mappers, it can be a source of new ideas. For instance, at 1:02, we can see first drawbridge that Blizzard made. Later, this bridge had been deleted, but Blizzard made it again and let it in the Database, but only the closed version is in game.
