It would be nice to have this tool updated with more featurea and bug fixes, it is really promising so far!

As far as I know, Cromon doesn't have free time for improving this tool. Anyway, new features like creating new doodadset would be good for custom WMOs.

Yes. Not sure if I ever made the "app" public though. If, then you can find it with the name DoodadAdder. If not, stick with the information in the wiki. It is totally possible to be done by hand and is not hard at all.
