[SHOWOFF]  Archpel of helea

(1/2) > >>

alborq:
Hi Modcraft

I come here today to share the work of mapping that I made with friends for our project: the chronicles of destiny.

This is a server project with a completely redesigned gameplay ..

I would present here our work on implementing the goblin of cataclysm in wolk

here is their area:

Overview (with Archipelago Helea):

Capital & port (City of Doolan):

Pirate Camp (the outpost of astrola):

Island of xp (the island of esperita):

unclassifiable:
the shore of Maar:

Turtle Island

the cave of the cruel aracnis

cross the bridge

I really like the overview of the archipelago. The cliffs are a bit too steep in my opinion though. Water really needs to be fixed (depth / transparency).

thank you for your constructive response. you would know how to remake the cons by the Sea has the blizzard with a sea and a very dark around to degrade?

Deplus when you talk to set the depth of water that you think that what art is to make need achieve better now

I really love it, it's one of the better things i've seen while being in the scene, There are still some colour misplacements here and there, doodads not fitting the groundtexture purely colourwise, but if you reskinned the palms for example just to have different colours that matches the ground texture, then everything so far is spot-on.

Also texturing dirt or shading around the objects makes it look more .. fit.

But I really bloody love this :i and the rainbow made me smile :D

Also if you could add detail-doodads, nodxt I think they are called, i'd be perfect :)

The "depth" is just how "blue" the water is. Blizzard does not do that dynamically but the transparency value is in the adt. My allocean tool set the value correctly. It fucks some stuff up at the shore though, as I did some errors in the algorithm.
