[QUESTION] M2 deletion

(1/3) > >>

Putte08:
Hey there. I've got a fairly simple question.

I have no clue how I should delete all the M2's in one ADT.
I've been trying to do it with Cryect tools but they only corrupt my ADTs, I've tried with several different ADTs and I've tried it several times, I've done it correctly but it still corrupts them.
(After all, Cryects tools are quite old....)
Quote from Steff: "the tools from cryect are over 4 years old and totaly outdated. Dont know why onyone use it in this form."

So is there any other way I can get the M2's deleted out of the ADTs?
Would be glad if someone could help me out. Cheers.  :ucheers:

Edit:
Would be awesome if someone could help me out. If your Cryect tools works, fantastic, then you can actually help me. Because if you're willing to, I can send you my ADTs and you can delete the M2's on it. I would like to get rid of all objects on those ADTs. So it's quite simple, and it would be done in about 5 minutes. So I would be really glad if someone could help me out. You would save my day.

schlumpf:
Try taliis, its only two years old.
Or try noggit. That's not that old.

Putte08:
I though Taliis could only replace stuff, not delete stuff. Anyways, is it able to delete up to a thousand M2's in one ADT? Blizzard is really detailed when it comes to M2's.

Putte08:
Is Taliis my only way to delete the M2's then? Or does anyone know another way?

Keta:
Cryects Tools may be old, but it is still working. Even in Cata it works. Cryect really did a great job ;D
Though in Cata it only works on the adt which contains the object info ofc :p I think you're having an issue of some sort with your computer, or your ADTs, if it isn't working correctly.
The last resort ofcourse, would simply be just to hex edit and replace all the M2 paths with 00's. But I wouldn't recommend it, and I've never tried, and Ill imagine it might think there are still models there, but no treepaths, so it'll crash cause it cant find "no object" :S
Just sayin' xP

Thanks
Keta
