[Problem] Mab.dbc / AreaTable.dbc

I was speak with J0K3R, and he have the same problem as me. The problem is the next:

When i modified map.dbc and areatable.dbc to create a new continent, and then i put the dbcs in DBC folder of server and in the custom patch, (DBFilesClientXXXX.dbc) in game name of ALL zones disapear:


THIS IS A BLIZZ ZONE¡¡


SEE THE MINIMAP, NO NAMES¡¡


I think is not a Map.dbc problem because the dbc that i use is blizzlike xD

I have to say that when i want to use the aretable.dbc every name is gone, without that dbc every name is shown correctly.
Btw i used steffs custommap1 thing^^

I used custommap1 too but only for the adts... i modified my custom areatable.dbc but nothing nothing... any solutions?

The problem here is that the DBCs supplied are for a german (deDE) locale. Whoever put them up did not think or does not know shit about DBCs. Even if you "repair" these DBCs, you won't end up with the correct result but with all names being in german.

The only solution to this is doing the DBC changes by hand, based on your locale's DBCs.
