The structure also includes plug-ins Import / Export of models. MDX (Warcraft 3). M2 (World of Warcraft). For the MDX, it is advisable to use a newer version of the plugin . The new version of the plugin (1.8) allows you to import and export animation textures, particles and limit the scope of (Bounding Sphere) for models format *. m3, but now work correctly in versions of 3DS Max 2009 and below are not guaranteed. Installation: 1. Place the scripts (. Ms) in the folder Scripts, located in the root folder of 3DSMax. If you want, you can place scripts in your Scripts / Startup, so they are loaded automatically when you run 3DSMax. 2. Place in a folder sc2_objects.ms Plugins, located in the root folder of 3DSMax. 3. Click on the icon of a hammer in the right pane, and then click on MAXScript. If you do not set scripts to automatically download, click the Run Script and select the right scripts to run. 4. Select the desired script or M3 - Export (M2 - Import) from the menu located below the Utilities. Next Open - Import or Export

... It can only IMPORT m2 files, you can't export m2 files with that pluggin...it can be used for Warcraft 3 or Starcraft 2 only...not for wow...

I thought this script had a export to MDX function? (which can be converter to M2)

check it out, just convert to 3ds if you are so bothered and convert that to mdx or m2/3 using tools that are in this section...

These tools are great! I'm an SC2 modder and I love the M3 tools. However, I am trying to get WOW models into max so I can export them as M3. This M2 script works great for characters, but it doesn't seem to work for spells.
It seems to import everything but leaves out the particles and ribbons. Am I doing something wrong?
