Anyone have density issues with doodads?

After some experimentation I've discovered something I'm not liking so much. Certain ground doodad models yield a lower coverage density than other models. I've tested in almost every way possible and deduced it down to the model.
For example, if you use the model "hofbushyc01.m2" it yields an extremely high coverage density. If you use the model "6samulch01.m2" it yields an extremely low coverage density.
I don't know what values in the model determine this factor, but it's really upsetting.

Well, just by taking a look at models its I would say quite obvious that models are entirely different. That Howling Fjord one is just one piece of... bushie?... while that Spires of Arrak is in fact group of small objects. They don't have different density (at least as long as you don't set different density in DBC or as long as you don't try to apply them on transparent textures blended a lot into another, which in general can lead to ground effects not showing at all with current Noggit saving bugs), it simply looks that 6sa one makes bigger density, because that model itself is bigger.
Thats something you can actually work with, when I need a very dense grass, I use models which are made of multiple tussocks.

You read it backwards my friend. The small bush has more density than the spiresofarrak model.

OK, we took a look at it and while both compared effects had density of 15 (and both used just 1 model and that model had in both cases all 16 points of importance from 6-9 fields - both effets exactly the same setting. just a different model ID used) and damn, those WoD models really do behave strange like hell. While HF ones did what was expected with this setting, they just cowered everything really densly, WoD model was not that dense and more importantly, it was clustered. Like density was around 100, not 15. Very strange behaviour indeed. Someone knows what to do with this, or by what it might be caused?
