[TOOL] Wmo Editor - All versions
<< < (7/22) > >>

Tried with alpha cata WMOs (works with graymane manor, but doesn't work with gilneas_townsquare.wmo). WMOs which are editable works fine and have no crashes and other bugs. Also it will be good to add a function of model moving on the keybord, because now it's impossible to add a painting on the wall or a book to the shelf.
Demonshade:
Would be handy if it was possible to edit the shape of WMO's without having to do any file conversions. I know somewhiteguy was able to integrate the functionality in his wowmapeditor but it is very outdated and very slow
Steff:
Thats not the goal of this project. Its an editor to edit all parameters beside the vertics.
Cromon:
About different version WMO: Loading should work fine, saving might not work for every possible model, i need to create a solid codebase then i can try to find the reasons why it doesnt work for a specific model.
For features: Most of what you wrote is already planned, i think editing the vertices might be able in a limited form but as there is a tool convertig models from/to 3ds i think the guys from autodesk do a much better job on 3D-editing software than i do (hey, they get paid for it, so it would be bad if not :D)
Uploaded a new version, most changes are usability: - It uses now .NET 4.0 and not .NET 4.5, if you still get problems launching the application make sure youve got it installed and have the redistributable of DirectX installed. - MPQs are no longer opened read/write but read only (allows you to open them somewhere else) - Models are placed using CTRL + V at the point the mouse hovers the model (if it doesnt hover the model, it aint placed, dont worry, it wont be in infinity or something like that) - Movement changed: - x, y, c with SHIFT remain for rotation - Models no longer follow the mouse - Click the model, hold SHIFT, CTRL or ALT for the 3 axis and move the mouse horizontally -> the object moves. You can combine the keys to let it move simultaneously on 2 or 3 axis.
I need to update the instructions in the first post, but thatll come later.
