That's how I do it. xD
The alphamap on talliis usually looks messed uo that way, but it's not like it's important or even visible for that matter. xD

When I'll have time I try to do some tutorial on grass, but I haven't the exact procedure. Just play with it.

Yes alphamap in taliis look messed but Never mind :)

Depends, they can be used efficiently if you know how, i'm going to look further into that topic, alpha map would spare you a lot of work (i suppose that this land took a load of time)

Unfortunately I don't know how they can  spare me a lot of work :D

Yes you have right, it takes some time. I can do it fast without details or slowly and properly :)
I prefer quality over quantity.
