Well compiling it isn't too hard, if you know how to compile a WoW Emulator, it's exactly the same thing, though you'll need Visual Studio 2012 Ultimate... There's a 15 or 20 day trial of it which is more than enough time to simply compile and make use of it there after.  VS2012 Ult is about a 1GB download which isn't much but it can be taxing on some folk that don't have a very fast connection but if you want to do it, you'll wait it out. :D

I'll make it monday or tuesday.  Work tomorrow(saturday), Birthday on Sunday(Taking day off from work, will not be home at all, will be drunk at a bar!!), Monday and Tuesday are my offdays from work.  SO maybe then.

BTW: Does it only work with Ultimate ?  Cause i had some Problems with .sln files on VS Professional

I can't say for sure, I've only tried the ultimate so far.  since that's what Will recommended.

But yes in the end, I'll give out the compiled version as well.  I wish the other guys that figured out how to compile it properly or have a working version directly from Will, would give some insight on it but they are too stingy to do so it seems.  I'm a Volunteering part time instructor at a community center for a Beginners Computer Graphics class, so it's part of who I am to simply teach folks something that others would not and or would rather be paid for instead.  

I do get a sum of the donations(which varies naturally) recieved from the various classes that the project has going on, which is mainly to keep the kids off the streets and trying to keep their minds busy on other things. ^^.  I am from a rather ghetto part of town. Most of the computers that are used for the classes, I hand built/picked out myself.. haha... better bang for the buck!

Actually, there are the way to convert WMOs. Mop WMOs don't differ much from Cata ones. So, we can use this method for Cata WMOs too. We need to export WMO via WoWModelViewer to a format wich supports texture export. Then convert it to 3ds using a tool you like (I recommend 3dobjectconverter 4.10). And then just use Gamh's MirrorMachineQT to make it WMO again. Sadly, but some models can't be exported with normal UV map (have broken textures).

Oh that's awesome, do tell, is there an already compiled version of 'Gamh's MirrorMachineQT'?  All I saw was a  bitbucket repo for it.

Anyway I'll fiddle that when I get the time for it.  Some wmo's work normally but you can get some really funky results at times:

THanks a ton for this again.  After several hours, I pulled this:

The scale on it is a bit off, but if it's possible to noggit these things, i could just rotate/scale it in there at a later date.  THankyou again ^^..... Also this model didn't render out in WoW Model Viewer, so I had to use a different method, which is why the scale is a bit off.

I've tried to do it that way but when saving with 3d object converter there are a lot of formats, I've tried with 3D Environment Program Complex (*.3DS) which gives a format error in MirrorMachineQT and 3D Studio Binary Mesh (*.3DS) which is converted but has only a grey texture.
The thing is, could you tell which is the correct format to export?

These are the only formats with 3D studio in my list and I've tried on several versions from 4.0 to 5.0 Gold (unfortunately I haven't been able to find 4.10, maybe that format only appears on that version?)

i dont know how you do, to convert the maps easily.
I tried a lot of times, the last yesterday, i convert the .wmos that appears in to the .adt of ShadopanArena, i convert the .adt with your converter, and put 4E into the WDT, in-noggit(older) i can see the map without textures, but i can see. In most recent noggit it close.
And in-game, it have wow error, in the middle of loading screen. and it are all maps that i try to convert.

I have to do something more to can see the maps ingame? I convert .adt, change 4E in .wdt, and see and converts the .wmos that appears into .adt, (m2 and textures have all).

I'm sure you heard of the common phrase, take it one step at a time... not 72 steps at once.  lol.

If you are doing the ADT Converts, make sure you use Beta MoP files. not normal retail files.  Secondly if you are doing it with WMO's. meaning you do not have the WMO output set to 0 as shown in the tutorial, then you must have every single wmo that the adt's look for converted and working.  If you re missing just one single wmo, you will get a wow error.  Sometimes the WDL file will look for wmo's as well so you must grab those too.

So if you want to do a simpler test, convert the adt's without any wmo(set the wmo output to 0 in source code) and use those as your Map.  then make a second convert with the wmo enabled(not 0 on wmo output, make a second compile) and then just put in one ADT that has wmo's inside of your patch that has the doodad only files.  This way you can practice on only small amount of WMOs rather than a huge handful of them.  Look at the adt file to see what wmo that file uses then get them and convert them, put all the wmo's into your patch, go ingame and hopefully it loads without any errors.

And what did you do to solve it?

If you are having problems with textures (shadows) like me, only change the options that I show you in the second pic. I didn't remember the option in "video" settings so I thought that was a bug T.T

Ferreon, the anthony converter, dont read .wmo, you need to compilate a adt_converter. You dont need to modify anything in the original converter.

Ok I compile the Will's Adt converter without modify. I have converted my adts I enter ingame and I have error cause the client didn't find .wmo files. Ok, I have converted all the .wmo related to the adts and now I have this error.

The Black Ground is from one of your material Flags, as I noted in the wmo tutorial, if you have something that has 1, 2, and 4 which is 7, this will cause it to be black as well, so change it to 6 which will then be 2 and 4 flags.  if it still is black then just change it to 1 or 0.  It's all about experimenting mate. ^_^.. or if you want it super shiny, do 1 and 4 which is 5.

Did you convert the adt files from patch 5.0.1 or lower map files?  Also with the wmo's. the method I showed in my tutorial is only one method of fixing wmo's. I never stated it would fix all of them.  The others require a bit more work or something else entirely different.  

These other things you'll have to learn on your own as I have already given you all a really big first step that no one would give out in the last 3 years.  I want to see who can actually learn and grow after getting a single tip and those that well... can't.  So far I've seen a number of people that have figured out the other methods, I wish you the best.  As I noted to Tote93, do one ADT at a time instead of trying to do them all at once.

Hi, i converted the MantidDungeon Map, and Deepholme map, and the wow error only have with big .WMOS, i know because i saw the map in noggit and its my conclusion xd.
I dont know why, but i have wow error (for me) with big .wmos.
