[QUESTION] cant teleport to new world

(1/2) > >>

Psauxw:
Hello guys,

ive been messing around with "allwater" over talliis and everytime i was opening my adt in noggit it would delete all the water when i saved.

so yea i think my adt is now corrupted because everytime i put it in my MPQ patch my wow crashes on loading screen ...can anyone look at it?

I have no clue on how to fix it ... i tried the "repfix" and in taliis i killed all water and saved, re-saved in noggit ...same problem

ToyokaX:
Did you add a DBC table entry (along with a .wdt) along side your new .adt? WoW will crash otherwise, if you don't have them to support the .adt. Also, use allwater at the end of your creation, exactly because of what you are experiencing. Allwater is sort of meant as a "finishing touch" so to speak ;)

Psauxw:
yea i did all the required patches ...at 1st it wasnt crashing but now it is so i just started a new map again.  I wont mess up with water until the end i guess. =)

Another thing tho,

how come sometimes I make the MPQ patch and theres just no map ingame?  I took the same names "NewWorld" and i emptied the MPQ and re-added the new files.  When i teleport to the coords (server AND client in noggit) there is just nothing...  It's been doing that like 2 times on 3 maps. Theres only 1 map i could teleport to.  I dont really know why its doing that... i just created a new map again and i still cant teleport there....i mean i can but there is nothing im just floating in "nothing"

edit: forgot to say ... im deleting my cache folder everytime,  is there anything else i must delete to see the new files inside the MPQ if you know what i mean

Eluo:
You don't really have to delete your cache :) the cache is for npcs, items and other server side stuff :)
ehm did you try to use offsetfix on your adt?
In my tutorial there is a part where i explained how to use it :)
Try that one first ;)

Psauxw:
yea i did that many times,  now it just says "fixing" and everything is just 0.00
