I would like to eventually tweak/update this which is why I haven't re-uploaded, but here's a quick re-upload. Not sure if it will work with the last WotLK patch either (it was last tested on 4.0.1) - download

One question. I'm not skilled enough to do it by my own.. is it easy possible to backport the white bear/cat models from wotlk to primarly 2.4.3 and also 1.12.1?

Is their any existing mod? Or can you do it/tell me how to do it?

Yes indeed, that would be a simple texture swap. You could slap together a patch-4.MPQ with the following structure:

(This would be for Night Elf forms)
Creatures
-----DruidBear
----------DruidBearSkin.blp
-----DruidCat
----------DruidCatSkinBlack.blp

the .BLP image files must keep those names, i.e. putting DruidCatSkinWhite.blp in your patch-4.MPQ and renaming it to DruidCatSkinBlack.blp would give you the white cat texture in game.
