Converted all mop world models to wotlk compatible. Some have moving shadows, but a simple hex edit can fix that..

EDIT: I have test and its very good, all M2 tested work but i have some shadows problem.

To fix dynamic shadow issue, refer to:

If you have problems with (dynamic) shadows "moving" and following your character's movement, that trick seems to fix it :
- Open the Cata/mop skin file associated with the model in 010 Editor.
- Apply the skin template.
- Go to submeshes (each of them).
- Change "unknown" field 0x10 (between startbones and rootbone) from 0 to 1.
I have no idea why, but it works xD.
I might actually apply this fix to all the models soon and reupload them.

I'll make a script that will fix the dynamic shadow problem for all the models tonight, Will will upload it on ScorpionShare.
I also made a script that converts all mop world models to wotlk compatible in a given folder, which I'll release soon. (Will has got this script too).

i tried some pandaren models but it dont work in game. i put the m2 in noggit i created the patch with the adt buy in game quadrate blue and white. have i to do some in patch or only put the adt? or only zone that works is turtlezone

I'll make a script for you if you want, that grabs all the names of the m2s in a given folder and prints the directories out of them in a notepad file.

If I'm not wrong you have the patch only with the adts in your wow root for testing. To see the models ingame you have to put them with the adt's in you patch.
@Will: It would be nice if this works so i don't have to do this by hand xD Do you know when you will be finished with it? (I know you have some rl things to do ^^)

We can't download Patch-T, loading stop before 890Mo and for free users, it's impossible to download 2 files, just 1 per IP

All MoP models create corrupted shadows. Can you fix the models or is there an ohter way to get right working shadows from this models?

Then the guy did the conversion should do this or delete all the models.
Perhaps he could add this to his converting script. I think it is a script else the amount of models whouldnd be possible to convert :)

I download this two files, very nice, but I have a problem. I look the models wow model wiever, and all model nice, I place noggit, here also very nice. But in the game 1-2 model no texture, more model not show in he game, the model have, where i take, but invisible, the haracter can't go cross (invisible wall). Some model is show in the game. Help me plz.

first, thanks for this pacage, i like the new mists of pandaria objects, its fun to build with it.
but i've got a problem i can see this stuff in noggit but i cant see it ingame. I build a little temple of M2s in Noggit and saved it, then i pack this adts in a patch and test it, but ingame there is nothing, no object, no cube....
can anyone help?
edit: ok fixed it... it was a cache problem :D
but now another question, it is possible to get the MoP WMOs for wotlk?

Hrmm Bugged shadows that you can deactivate and have cool new chinese areas.
or bugfree old european wotlk styled areas with shadows.... i think about the first option as my favorite ;)
but WMOs would be cool, a few houses and a temple or something like this, at the moment i use the nightelf buildings but these are not good enough

Then thing is not if you deactivate them but the players will. Or get freaked out that they have strange GFX buggs ingame. And if you realy want you can fix the M2s U use with some tuts here. Our Tress work fine thanks to Mjollna.

Would someone be so kind to re-upload the Patch-T.MPQ file (being, the textures). The file has been removed, so downloading it is blatantly impossible.
I'd be very glad (and I suppose others would too!) if this file could be re-uploaded by someone, whether to the same site or to another uploading site (which I suppose people would prefer, considering the current site isn't working as it's supposed to according to all the posts).

Have you did the edit with 010 editor, if yes, what values have you changed?

No, I have not edited with 010 editor, I just recolored objects by taking the basic textures, modifying them and putting them back in their place :(
Edit : Some m2 are not reskinned, but they do not appear ><

Do youuse an other client for noggit and testing. Then you have to copy over the MoP model MPQ also to the testing client.

Just FYI, this thread is over a year old, Will's First post was May 17, 2012 . Last year. And I think he stopped his scorpionshare project as well recently.

As for your SQL thing, you might be on your own with that unless someone's made some... because that's a hell of a lot of names to put in given there are around ~15,000 additional doodads in total.

It's outdated. You can use a torrent of Anthony's 9GB patch. It contains all the models (.m2 and .wmo and other files) that are fully compatible with 3.3.5a.
