Title: [REQUEST] Placing M2 in a WMO
Post by: Archimoon on May 05, 2017, 04:40:18 pm
Hello,

Is there a tool for placing .M2 (like table, chair, etc..) in a .WMO like a House ?
With noggit it's so very difficult.

You actually CAN'T place it there in Noggit. It will flicker and bug in game. You need to either use gameobjects, or create/edit doodad sets of that WMO.

In order to edit doodad sets, either:
1. wait for Skarn to finish new version of WMO plugin (shouldn't take more than few days now, hopefully, might be out even tommorow).
2. follow this tutorial, part talking about doodad sets:

Release page of WMO plugin for Blender:
http://www.model-changing.net/files/file/56-wmo-importexport-blender-scripts-updated-04012017/

More about that tool can be found on my YT channel. But until new release is out, it can't edit doodad sets. Yet.
