Title: Noggit.Rev.104 Problem
Post by: WakeUpSlave on September 11, 2011, 11:24:16 pm
After making any edits to an ADT,saving it, and exiting, i have to reboot my PC to be able to sucessfully open noggit again. This happens each and everytime, and if I have any edits to make I have to reboot. (Which is terribly annoying)

This is the log errors I get when I  open noggit without rebooting.
http://pastebin.com/tAjM47nH (http://pastebin.com/tAjM47nH" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)

I have seen posts elsewhere about similar log errors and no help there..

Any help or insight on this is appreciated.

check in your process if noggit are close or close it manually

Yeah I thought of that already, also looked for suspicious or extra processes and nothing.

Maybe have you change some dbc in your patch-enUS-9.MPQ

You may try removing the custom MPQ as that might cause problems.
Also, you may want to try the beta version after you applied.

Never use custom MPQs inside you noggit wow folder.
Best use 2 WoW copies. One for noggit that you access over the config file and one for MPQ testing.

Alright I'll give that a try, luckily i already have a few extra copies of WoW on my HD. Ill get back if the problem persists.
Thanks

EDIT: Still no progress. I changed directories to a different wow, removed my MPQ, and the same errors still arise.

EDIT: The problem still exists on the rev 104. But I've recently been using the Beta testing versions of noggit and am realllllllly impressed great progress guys. I can only hope to be here when water tools come to Noggit :D If they ever do.
