Isent it the same video.  Still i dont see a texture in 3ds max.
And converting  a simple box is not the magic,  but having  a simple model and get it over with working texture(s)

You aren't really showing much... a box, a pre-downloaded football with the texture... meh, I dunno... I suppose it's a base for some people - but I think that if you were to make a tutorial, you should model something yourself, unwrap the mesh and texture it aswell..

For example, with this tool, you can do something like so:



Those balls are really simple.. unwrapping the texture, texturing with PS, and then adding transparency with 010 editor.

Or something like this;



The latter required a bit more work on the texturing, but as I was saying I think you should do something like this.. and cover all the points when it comes to making a tutorial about it.

I would do a tutorial myself, but I'm quite swamped right now.
