Pretty amazing work!! However.. is too sad that most probably it will be lost with Cataclysm.. since all the Azeroth and Kalimdor Maps will be remodeled :(

Thats why i am currently making islands only. There are less chances to lose a map in the middle of the ocean.

Nah, won't be deleted for 2 reasons
-My ADTs will overwrite blizz one at ANY version
-Zones i'm editing won't be touched by cataclysm (not much)
-I won't use cataclysm for my RP server

There's still the chance they might be changing the adt file structure, and then you'd have to convert it, but since you said you're not going to install cataclysmn on your server that won't bother you anyways  :ugly:
