Title: [QUESTION] Do not see my model ingame
Post by: fey on March 24, 2013, 09:49:31 pm
Hello,

I would like to ask you for a help with my problem.

I exported the draenei model from WoW (using model viewer) and edited it via 3DSmax 8. My initial intention was to add dragon feets to draenei. I imported dragon model as well, deleted all polygons excluding feets, placed them at the right place and joined with draenei's model. Then I saved it all as 3ds and using 3dstom2 converted to m2 and skin file, which I put in the patch file.

But, when I start wow and look at draenei, I see nothing and I cannot move ingame.

I would be happy for every replies and advice.

Regards, Fey

Does it even convert the anims ? Also, Draenei are a race - which contain 4 skin files.

Thanks for your reply. But when I export it via 3dstom2, I get only one skin file. How can I convert it the right way and get all 4 skin files?

edit: and how can I know, that it converted animation correctly? I am sorry, I am a newbie in model editing. O:-)
