Title: how to copy bones (skeleton)
Post by: Chris Danger on November 18, 2012, 08:45:37 pm
hi guys, I am having a little trouble trying to find how to copy the whole skeleton of another model (like human male) to my new custom mesh ( I want to copy the bones like they are in the original model so I can copy the animations with animporter)

hope you can help me, have been a lot of time searching it and didnt find anything :(

Edited:
I saw a post
viewtopic.php?f=7&t=3376 (http://modcraft.io/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=3376" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)
where Vel said:
(m2 to ms3d to mdl to notepad to mdx)(each anim)

and I got the bones in the skeleton, but the problem is that idk if they are well done, cause in model viewer the original skeleton had (for example) 40 bones, and in mine it has like 50 (weird cause I just copied them from the original .m2 and added via notepad to my model)
