I cannot solve crash on startup issue, I'm about to give up.

[attachment=3:3n9yh5vj]Folders pic 1.png[/attachment:3n9yh5vj]For the past 12 hours, I have been trying to set up noggit. It crashes instantly, and your manual does not help me at all.

I have 3.3.5 client in my harddrive, It's a (No install) version.
IF ANYONE CAN SEND ME A LINK OF WHERE THEY GOT THEIR CLIENT, PLEASE POST LINK, incase mine is the wrong version...

 I moved NoggitSDL1.2 into there, Put WoWmodelviewer7 in there, and set conf to this"

This is a config file template. To use it rename into noggit.conf and set your options
Edit this to your WoWFile!!!
Path = E:Program Files (x86)3.3.5World of Warcraft 3.3.5a (no install)

Edit this to your Project-Directory and uncomment if you want to use it!
ProjectPath = E:Program Files (x86)3.3.5World of Warcraft 3.3.5a (no install)project

Set this to the file where you will import models from (the model viewer log for example :) )
ImportFile  = E:Program Files (x86)3.3.5World of Warcraft 3.3.5a (no install)WoWModelViewer7userSettingslog.txt

The far clipping value. Set to 2048, 3072, 4096 etc. for a further look. Higher values need more 3d power.
1024 is the standard value and will be taken if you do not set this value.
FarZ=2048

I believe I had done everything right, but apparently I am still messing up., The log for noggit does not show any errors, it only says

1 - (Noggit.cpp:130): Noggit Studio - SDL 1.2
387 - (Video.cpp:204): [Debug] GL: Version: 4.4.0
387 - (Video.cpp:205): [Debug] GL: Vendor: NVIDIA Corporation
387 - (Video.cpp:206): [Debug] GL: Renderer: GeForce GTX 660/PCIe/SSE2

nothing else. I know it's supposed to be reading the MPQs and Maps, but it doesnt seem to get them. Am I doing my config wrong? are files in the wrong places? Are maps supposed to be in the main WoW folder and not in the data folder?

On your manual, I dont understand if you are saying that the Data folder needs to be empty or something? Something about cache, but I don't have a cache folder to begin with. It would be helpful If I could get a client directly from you to download, and it would make it simpler to have pictures showing what folders go in which, I made a complete mess of my computer trying to figure this out, and looking it up, alas, No luck. I can't get this running for jack.

If anyone could please tell me what I'm doing wrong, please, that would be great... I'm at the brink of giving up.

If you need additional info please lemme know.

I have pictures attached, lemme know what needs to change please

I deleted EVERYTHING and downloaded a different 3.3.5a client, started completely from scratch, and it seem's that noggit 1.2 doesn't work, it only works when I use noggit1.3

However, I only have noggit in there. is there anywhere I can get extra tools? Like tools to add objects like trees, houses, and such without downloading that 70g file? Also, is WoWmodelviewer7 the tool that lets you add models such as trees and props to the world? couldn't figure that out before it broke again.

EDIT: The client still seems to crash half the time on startup,  I'm going to try to repair it again. This is not solved yet, once I have the client up and running I'll mark this as solved.

I'm also having this issue. I've tested and confirmed that my config is 100% correct. I can run SDL 1.3 but cannot run SDL 1.2. I've also switched over to my laptop and made sure that SDL 1.2 is working, and it works. So basically it won't run on my desktop but it runs on my laptop, and I don't understand why. This sucks because I really need 1.2 for Cata ADT conversions.

(Nevermind my comment about Cata ADTs, I figured that issue out and don't need SDL 1.2 anymore. But still., OP needs help.)

Folder rights or read only flog set.  1.3 open mpqs not in write mode.

I'm not 100% sure what you meant, but both my WoW client and Noggit SDL 1.2 are read/write.

Frustrating that we have to point out this every time.
Logfile and config file as described in the noggit sticky post please.

It is easy.  I see the files and if i have seen that they are correct,  i will go on and help.
IF they are correct next step would be to have a look with teamviewer.

Both files are in the first post.
Config file seems to have no comment marks for comments.

Good eyes Schlumpf. I didn't notice that. Maybe I'm not having the same issue then. Oh well it doesn't matter anyhow.

After messing around with the config to be Exactly the same as your (at least as close as i could) I'm sure it's not your noggit config file.
What i tested:
If the # signs are needed by the direction lines. (didn't seem to matter for me)
if having a  after log.txt is a problem. (it's not but it might prevent  you from using M2 and WMO import from model viewer)

What I think might be the problem is all that extra stuff you put in the wow folder.
Have you tried placing  Noggit, Modelviewer7 and all the other stuff in it's own folder?

I really suggest following and trying to keep a folder setup as close to this thread http://modcraft.io/viewtopic.php?f=78&t=3381 as possible.

and don't worry it doesn't quite add up to 70gb (mine personally is only about 37gb) The majory of the size being wow it's self.

# mark comments. And you should not delete this in front of real comments.
So all lines where NOT = is in need a # in front:
