Title: Looking for a patched WoW.exe
Post by: xeriae on October 18, 2014, 03:03:05 am
Hello.

Since the server I play is 5.4.2, I wanted to ask if anyone has a patched .exe with signature and md5 check removed.

I tried the tutorial on ownedcore and I failed miserably lol. So if someone can help me with this last part, that would be great.

Not true, although I have noticed that many MoP servers do have their own exe's that work for only them. I believe it sets the realmlist or something. Why, I have no idea, because the exe patcher that SkyFire gives you should work universally.

So yeah, if you're using the latest SkyFire you should be good. Use your SkyFire patcher thing if you have it. Should come with the SkyFire Tools. Idk what signature or md5 are but if it's GlueXML check you need taken out, follow the tutorial on here. And the patch that makes custom models possible can be found at the Azerothica nude mod site. I'd take the Azerothica exe, run the SkyFire patcher on it, and then remove the GlueXML check with Ollydebug

Yes I've looked for a tutorial but couldn't find any :/

It is gluexml that I want to be gone.

It's really not so hard to type GlueXML Check into the search... D:

Need to turn them off in MoP to even load custom mpq's.

The first part isn't that hard anyways since a lot of private server offer .exe with those disabled already but I personally wanted GlueXML disabled on 5.4.2.

Offets? Idk what you mean. This method works the same for MoP. Only difference is that the Cases are in different locations. I think you have to scroll up a little bit.

It's already solved. Thank you so much.
