Title: [QUESTION] Saving a M2 with wmv or modit
Post by: Serifaz on January 15, 2012, 02:10:33 am
A while ago I saved a model as m2 from modit or wmv ...
I can't remember which, but in either case I forgot how to do it.
Can anyone remind me also can someone post a link to modit incase my version is not working correctly.
I know pymodel editor is the modit replacement but I can't use pymodel editor.

I think its a regional issue...
possibly because of the version of python it was written with...
I have asked many times for someone to help me set it up but, no luck.
But this thread can be closed I'm just gonna extract the model from an mpq editor :)

In order to work pymodeleditor need to install these files in the following order

FIRST
1. http://www.python.org/ftp/python/2.6/python-2.6.msi (http://www.python.org/ftp/python/2.6/python-2.6.msi" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)

THEN

2. http://pypi.python.org/packages/any/P/P ... f9a1bd8462 (http://pypi.python.org/packages/any/P/PyOpenGL/PyOpenGL-3.0.1.win32.exe#md5=513cc194af65af4c5a640cf9a1bd8462" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)

AND

3. http://www.riverbankcomputing.co.uk/sta ... -4.9-1.exe (http://www.riverbankcomputing.co.uk/static/Downloads/PyQt4/PyQt-Py2.6-x86-gpl-4.9-1.exe" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)

(for win32) I hope you have not 64

When a Python 2.6(in 2009) -  Windows7 did not exist (most likely only for winxpvista)

ok one last question how does... wmo 2 maxscript work?
I am trying to use the converter but its just saying successful and I don't see any converted files.
I loaded the script into 3ds max 2009 and tried loading the wmo but it just lets me choose a m2.

PS:. Thank you very much for the help :)

Also I do have a 64 bit computer.
