Noggit / Re: Models not showing in game

Whilst I am waiting for the beta reply, I decided to give that tool a try. Started from scratch with the original maps, deleted all ADTs and MPQs made by me. Made a simple change to the map, saved.

Ran the ADT file through the tool, created a new patch, same thing. I don't see any models etc.

Probably because I wasn't searching for technical terms like MCRF

So according to the link you provided I have to run this tool every time?

I'm running Noggit $Rev: 104$ Jan 15 2010, 15:23:52

I though that was the most recent stable version.

Noggit / Models not showing in game

Hi, I've been using Noggit to make some small changes to Dun Morogh, close to Kharanos. I made a copy of the Thunderbrew Distellery and moved it to another hill/mountain to the east. I then saved, created my MPQ and loaded WoW.

Upon entering Kharanos, I don't see anything! The main buildings are there, (but not the copy of Thunderbrew Distellery) no trees, no caravans. NPCs are still showing. It looks like this has affected the entire ADT as it's a large area that is now devoid of models.

I've Googled and checked this board but cannot see answers to this. Anyone care to guide me in the right direction?

Thanks

Great, thanks for the tips.

The thread in question for building an independent instance (I think) can be found here:

Hope this helps someone in the future!

Yes, yes, there was a tutorial somewhere around iirc, yes.

I've look through what I thought was all of the tutorials available here, but didn't see anything about creating an independent world space. I've seen tutorials on adding islands etc.

Could you paste a link to the tutorial you mentioned?

Thanks

I've been reading through all of the (very helpful!) tutorials and guides on this site and I'm a little confused as to how world building works.

Am I able to create a completely independent world space?
Am I able to remove all of the WoW world spaces?
How do I go about creating maps to aid navigation around these new world spaces?

Basically I want to create a smaller independent world and make sure that players do not have access to any WoW world space. Is this possible?

Thanks
