Hey,
Sorry again if I disturb you in any way but I've noticed one very disturbing thing... Hopefully this comes to the right area.
When I'm having my test WoW client running (not the noggit WoW client) and WoW server when I open Noggit, it seems to fuck up my map and crashes when I try to load them.
I noticed it just because I've tried it ten of times and it happens always. But it's just so hard if I don't know how big the map / area is in-game (I created 6x5 map and it's.... HUGE. Even 4x4 seems to be big for me).
Could you also share some tips how you "calculate" the scale for maps (it's hard especially when trying to create something that has to be pretty small but it happens to be BIG in-game).
Thanks.

Well I've heard that Noggit has some compatibility problems with Trinity Core... Might be because of it.
-
Why should an Client fIle editor couse problems with a server ????
I also use trinity and have no problems.
Perhaps you dont setup noggit right and it opens the wrong files of the testing client?
Take a look in the log after the crash what path noggit use for loading files.
-
Well I've set the path to my Noggit WoW client directory so it loads the files from there.
It's pretty odd I think that Noggit crashes when trying to load the custom map when having other WoW test client and WoW server running. The log file seems to be "clear" (meaning that there are no errors).
Oh, and by the way, noggit crashes also when trying to open any map, not only when loading custom maps.
And after closing the WoW server and test client I can open all other maps than my custom maps.
My Noggit WoW directory is clear (no custom patches there).
-
Strange. I will test this at home this evening.
-
And Noggit keeps crashing on my custom maps until I replace the files in WoW/world/maps/mymapname
with the backup files after I've closed the test WoW client and WoW server but it loads other maps fine.
Note: This happens only in Noggit rev 104, not in the Noggit rev 120.
